While it may seem like only yesterday that your companion was a playful puppy or a curious kitten, a senior pet’s health is much different than that of a younger pet. Pets enter their senior years around the age of 7. The veterinarians at Creekside Animal Hospital understand the unique needs of older pets and have developed the special “Senior at 7” program.

Your older pet has been a special part of your life. We understand that you want as many more years together as possible. That is why our doctors have developed our “Senior at 7” program with examinations and bloodwork twice a year. By identifying conditions such as heart and kidney disease, high blood pressure, glaucoma, arthritis, diabetes and cancer, we can treat and slow the progression of these diseases.
