Dr. Sam Adams – Veterinarian/Co-owner of Creekside Animal Hospital

Dr. Adams is married to Debbie. They have 3 sons: Sam Jr., Chantz and Zach, 3 grandchildren: Chantz Jr., Lane and Kinsey Grace. They have a dog named Ace. Before deciding on veterinary medicine, Dr. Adams did many things little
boys dream of doing, trained horses, was a butcher, drove a big truck, sold real estate and was an auctioneer. He spent his early years in Franklin, TN and his Jr. High and High School years in Flowery Branch, GA. Dr. Adams graduated from Johnson High School in Gainesville, GA, earned a BS in animal science at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN, and earned a DVM at Mississippi State University in Starkville, MS.

What is the most fun you ever had outside of work?
A family vacation in Hawaii

What do you love to do outside of work?
I rest and vegetate in my recliner

What do you like most about your job at CAH?
I love taking care of pets and forming relationships with clients

What do you like least about your job at CAH?
Not being able to save them all and disappointing owners

What is the strangest thing you have ever done for work?
During a sales call while selling boots in Oklahoma, I stopped at a drive through petting zoo and was attacked by an ostrich while sitting in my car trying to feed the animals
